MAGA Gone Tired: Sonja Shaw

Is it always election season? With short moments of reprieve.
Nice to check in, Darlings, I'm afraid we've business to tend to. I knooow, all I want to do is play, too. I've got a very pretty online bate going on, now patiently waiting tall and ready.
Alas, the constant whack-a-mole - nary a more literal term for our purpose at hand - of MAGA is once again our election season necessary task.

It's 2021. Jordan Henry With an Agenda scoops up anti-maskers, pro-pandemic whiners GUSD Parents Voices towards the dismantling of public education. The chosen first wave of scare is CRT.
This organized national agenda sponsored by big bucks took a lot of local towns like Glendale by surprise. Early trickles of the malcontent were dismissed as anomalies that would tire themselves out. GUSD Board of Education and the Glendale Teachers Association showed an early and united front and this would go a long way towards eventually prevailing. It was a marathon to be sure, and community members, educators, and parents were up to the task.
Over in Chino Valley, a different outcome. Where IS Chino Valley? Over? Down? In 2022, while Ms. Henry was losing her bid for Glendale City Council, in Chino Valley Sonja Shaw would be elected to school board. Before the pandemic, she was a stay-at-home mom who led early-morning fitness training sessions. She had no children in public schools.
Locally, in 2023 Ms. Henry would organize a riot outside the GUSD BOE meeting set to declare June as Pride Month, as it had for several previous years nary a peep. CRT was OUT, LGBT was IN, specifically gender curious students. Where CRT built the pyre, gender supplied the fire and MAGA continues to cling to ashes for dear life, not having a single new concept since 2022.
But while it was still young and fresh, the way MAGA appears to like them, careers like Ms. Shaw's were born. While the early MAGA bitchfest was crafted to focus on learning fundamentals - (math-reading-science, or whatever kids need to learn to not grow up to be Sonja's and Jordan's and all their little friends - which come to think of it would be things like CRT and tolerance.) - in the end the breadth of Ms. Shaw's education agenda, as she demonstrates herself in this @skyspiderla video, is attacking children.
Correct, Ms. Shaw is running for CA State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
In 2024, Ms. Henry and her GUSD Parents Voice-slash-drag queen wanna be-slash-failed self-published romance novelist Aneta Krpekyan were both endorsed by Ms. Shaw in their bid for seats on the BOE.
They both lost. But the endorsement isn't the only thing shared. They all had, and Sonja continues to have, a strong penchant for the lowest common denominator. Jordan welcomed J-6ers, Proud Boys, and an array of non-Glendale agitators at his June 3, 2023 riot, Ms. Shaw continues to garner their support.
"Friends in Low Places" is a painfully thorough and amazingly referenced romp through the worst of us and the people who love them.
This Lady and her childhood of an era is asking you to please give it a peruse. And to VOTE. Put MAGA out of business. Attacking children is neither a qualification nor a policy. Let's protect our dolls.
