I was fortunate enough to have seen Moms Club at another private screening. Thank you to our good friends for supporting it and, bonus, reviewing it while The Lady spelunked some virgin caverns.

And then I fell into a deep sleep and dreamed about Siskel and Ebert and city council - as ladies of a certain persuasion do.

(Aside, the kids were very team Ebert, but it was Siskel who was had the attractive mind.)

I dreamed of an old Siskel and Ebert like movie review, only it was our own Jiminy Glick-Dame Edna spawn and ... oh my, yes, the self-ordained 6th city council member.

Yes, Glendale city council elections were handedly decided months ago. Pathetically, one loser never accepted the results and has inserted themself into every ... meeting? If only! How about every agenda item! Judging and babbling as they do, proudly fact free.

So here they are in my dream counter - reviewing Mom's Club. It went something like this:

You know, I saw that screening the other night and I just have to say what a terrible movie this is. And people in the audience were riveted. Over what? This garbage? I didn't appreciate how unfair it was. I didn't appreciate it at all. You have this group that thinks they're special because what, they're gay? Nobody cares if they're gay. Nobody cares if you're gay. There's a lot of parents who don't want that taught to their children, who were just saying that and this movie made it like there was a riot or something just because parents don't want their tax dollars used for these things. You know who's not rioting? You know who really deserves a documentary? VARTAN! Why doesn't he have a documentary? You know I love you Vartan. I do, I can't help it. You're a good man. And then it compares itself to 1933 Germany where Jews were less than 1% of the population. Where's my documentary? Where's the programming for that? Schools don't have enough money to pay teachers because they're spending it all on this nonsense that's nobody's business. If they want to give their money away why aren't they giving it to senior renters who really need it? No, I didn't like this movie. I didn't like it at all.

There was no council meeting this week. Very dangerous, the idle mind. The Lady attests! As does our 6th council member.
