The Lady, with the remainder of her brunch gimlet, was all settled in to wander down the tangled rabid-hole that is Glendale Elections; but coinciding with Pride this year (a terrible idea), it's become apparent a monumental shift has occurred. So first, the shift.
Mayoral transphobe and homophobe Ara Najarian wraps up his career with the longest long goodbye. That, in conjunction with MAGA-Minus-One* defeated in the local elections, while it behooves noone to get too comfortable and we get to do it again in two years anyway, Glendale is looking pretty sunny in this moment of reprieve.
Stack onto that Glendale's First LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade EVER. Not only a great moment in local history no one can erase, it was larger than anticipated and the queer joy its duration was breathtaking. Not just the gays, honey; the community, the cars, the honking, the people waving back from balconies and streets, the cheering, the phone's being whipped out with smiles on faces, the rock star craziness around Free Mom Hugs who were doing just that along the route for anyone who asked.
And just like that, the earth shifted on its axis - at least Glendale did, so that suddenly this tired bullshit became - THIS TIRED BULLSHIT.
Both from Allegedly Maro Yacoubian's Instagram page, tropes dusted and descaled from years ago. Honey, Lady Whistledale is as old and descaled as they come, but I'm not the hysterical bitch on the block still railing against Who Shot JR like you are on course to be doing with this tiredness. The only thing anyone at this point is waking up to is your inability to do so.

Poor Beth Brooks: 0 critical thinking skills yet never-ending critical yammer skills.
Somewhere on one of her sites she'd asked how many times would the word "marginalized" be heard at "Tuesday night's council meeting," Ms. Brooks coded prediction towards the agendized Pride Proclamation presentation. Deleted when the answer was ZERO. Ms. Brooks thinks being "marginalized" is a competition to which she is the sole benefactor.
Here she uses her teflon brainskills to critically not grasp what she is looking at. Again.

After the bubble of hate, attacks, accusations, smears, defamations, slanders and more for so many of us since 2023, to step into the streets of GLENDALE and be greeted with just the opposite, with so much welcoming love from the masses - suddenly Maro and Beth were tiny, tired bitter little bitches on a cry in the desert. Well, ladies,

Everything that follows is within this moment.
Happy Pride, Glendale.
Love,
Lady Whistledale.
*Don't worry, Maga-Minus-One; we got you.
